  • You can incorporate this spring advantage in your young horse worming protocol along with your other adult horses.

The Spring Advantage Set is your defense against worms capable of causing serious disease.

TEST

faecal worm egg count provides information about the type of worm present (strongyle or ascarid) and the number of eggs in a faecal sample.

TREAT

This should consist of a seasonal treatment to prevent occurrence of large strongyles, target small strongyle and their encysted larvae, tapeworms, bots, and spirurid nematodes responsible for causing summer sores (Habronema spp. and Draschia sp)

 CHECK

provides information about the efficacy of the dewormer used. Did the wormer kill the egg laying worms?

Complacency is deadly, so are resistant worms

When it comes to faecal egg counts not all tests are created equal
